Let me introduce you to the double length wine crate ottoman!
Stylish multi purpose storage for the end of your bed or as a footstool/ low coffee table to suit any space.
available in printed, plain or your own bespoke fabric choice
Lovingly restored in my East London studio, each ottoman is made from reclaimed materials with natural hand screen printed fabrics designed and printed by myself with wine crates from from France and the rich blue fabric is from the UK, printed with geometric gold cube print.
Boxes are sanded and waxed to protect the wood and bring out the natural beauty of the grain then I create a custom upholstered lid (soft enough to sit on, firm enough to balance a tray on) covered in a fabric of your choice.
Either screen printed blue and gold cube
-Plain navy
-Plain pale grey linen
-OR post me your own fabric so I can create a bespoke option just for you- for details of fabric sizes see bottom of description.
This ottoman in hinged with brass chain fixings, upholstered with 2.5 cm custom made lid strong enough to sit on or use as a fancy foot stool.
Two restored wine crates have been attached together with discreet steel fixings so create a double chamber with one lid spanning both to create a long stylish storage solution.
Use to date include;
-Sitting on whilst learning to tie shoes/storing shoes.
-A modern blanket box for all your favourite fabrics.
-Storing type writers and inspiration for the book you ARE going to write.
L 101 cm W34cm H23.5cm Weight 9 kg
N.B Box labels may vary-Most crates are slightly different sizes so I choose those best suited to being joined together.
Each piece is photographed to show the colours of the wood and fabric as accurately as possible however depending on your computer/tablet screen this colour may vary slightly.
CUSTOM OPTIONS
You can to post me your fabric of choice (or if you're local, come and say hi!)
For an ottoman this size I would need fabric measuring 130cm x 50 cm and the fabric would need to be relatively heavy weight/ hard wearing-imagine the weight of a medium denim material- this is the MINIMUM weight the fabric would need to be.
Thanks,
